PRAYER AND PRAISES BIBLE CHURCH INT'L

The church was founded in 1998, with eight members including the man of God and his wife at Bariga, a suburb of Lagos with the name: “PRAYER AND PRAISES BIBLE CHURCH INT'L” which according to God implies that every body that comes there to pray must praise Him because there will be testimony.

Three years later, the church moved to Ikosi area of Ketu, Lagos. This came as a result of sudden ejection of the church from her accommodation by the landlord which did not give members the opportunity to fellowship the following Sunday.

This led the man of God to the mountain for prayers. And God indeed intervened. God directed him to go to Ketu that He will show him a place where the church will stay.

After walking round the Ketu for several days, God pointed a place to His servant and told him that “this is where I dwell”.

And after negotiation, the owner made the man of God to understand that the place he is about to start the church is the kingdom of witches and wizard which controls Ketu and his environs. But the man of God was not afraid because God has promised him from the book of Isaiah 61:1-3.

Coming to Ketu was divine and for a purpose. Three weeks after the church started at Ketu, the first miracle happened. Just as the man of God was passing by, the Spirit of God led him to minister to a woman sitting in front of her house beside the church that there was a problem facing her. The woman confessed that one of her grand children was dead inside the house, and that she was waiting for the night to fall so that she can throw the girl inside the bush.

The man of God went inside the house to pray for the dead girl and suddenly, a miracle happened as the girl came back to life. The people around were astonished when they saw what happened. This led the mother of the girl to proclaim the work of God and the name of the church throughout the length and breadth of Ketu and this caused increase in the number of worshippers in the church.

Up till today, the church still enjoys the same mandate as miracles, many dumbfounding miracles are still been performed by God through His servant, Prophet Dr. Kehinde Obayemi, to the glory of God.
